Sea Scouts from around the world arrived in sunny Southern California where they exchanged their dress white uniforms for sunscreen, sailing gear and multi colored bathing suits. More than 70 of the world's top Sea Scouts are competing in CFJ sailboats for the 2014 William I. Koch International Sea Scout Cup. The week long event will feature match races in Alamitos Bay and Long Beach Harbor.

Scouts will also test their seamanship skills and teamwork when they form 10 member crews to sail six Catalina 37s around the entire Long Beach Harbor.

The event is underwritten by William I. Koch, Oxbow Carbon LLC, the Port of Long Beach, the Long Beach Yacht Club, and the Long Beach Sea Scout Base. Without Oxbow Carbon LLC this event would not be possible.
