William I Koch International Sea Scout Cup Association Inc

The William I Koch International Sea Scout Cup Association Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that was founded in October 2002 to administer and execute the biennial William I. Koch International Sea Scout Cup sailing regatta.  It currently takes place every even-numbered year at a place and time determined by the Board of Directors.  The Corporation also assists and promotes other Scouts BSA programs at the discretion of the Directors.

The participation in the Koch Cup is by invitation only.  Only participants who are Sea Scouts and members of Scouting organizations recognized by the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) and the World Organization of the Scouting Movement (WOSM), are allowed to participate.  For countries that do not have Sea Scouts any scout may attend as long as the Scouting organization is a recognized by WOSM. The goal is to have 20 teams from the United States and 20 International teams.

One of the main functions of the William I Koch International Sea Scout Cup Association Inc is to raise money to help international teams attend the event.  Donations can be made to support the Koch Cup event and International Scouts.
