
Biographical Info
Natalie is from Chicago, Illinois, United States and is a member of Rickover Naval Academy Sea Scouts (5709) of the Pathway to Adventure Council. She has been active in scouting for 3 years and has earned the rank of Apprentice. She just graduated from Rickover Naval Academy.
Some key accomplishments in Scouting, academics, and sports include being able to race the Mackinaw Island Race in 2016 and sail the boat back to Chicago. Besides sailing, she also participated in Cross Country and was the girl’s Captain this past season and placed 9th out of 150 girls in one of the races in which she competed. Also, aside from extracurricular activities, during school she has been able to keep a high class rank and take the most rigorous courses offered at her school.
She feels that taking part in the William I. Koch International Sea Scout Cup will be a great experience to meet new people and their cultures.
She has been sailing for three years and participated in sanctioned sailing races during the fall, spring, and summer. She has sailed in 420’s and a Farr 40.
Sanctioned sailing races were out of the Chicago Yacht Club at Belmont Station in May of 2016, May of 2017, and October of 2017. Another sanctioned race was the Mackinaw Island in Michigan in July of 2016.
