SSC Info

The Koch Cup features one week of sailing competition on sailboats crewed by two person teams. The total cost of this event is $325 USD including housing, food, boats and everything you need except your transportation to the event location and your personal clothes.

  1. Hello, I am one of the SSC qualifiers with Patrick Fisher. I was wondering about what type of boats we will be racing in – FJ’s or 420’s?

  2. My daughter is one of the qualifiers and she would like to accept the invitation. Her teammate has moved to another ship. Can another scout from her ship fill in or does she have to wait after January 1st to register since she doesn’t have a teammate?

    1. As of right now any available slots will be filled by Alternate Teams that participated in a qualifier. As long as both members are still registered in Sea Scouts they can participate. They do not have to be from the same ship.

      Information about Awards Dinner tickets and new this year spectator packages will be posted to the website in the next month or so.

  4. We sent the registration fee for my daughter early February and I read that we are supposed to received medical forms to complete the registration. When can we expect the forms?

    1. We have not yet set the price for the Awards Dinner. We are expecting it to be in the range of $50-$70. We are also looking at offering a SPECTATOR PACKAGE. We are thinking of offering lunch each day (Monday – Thursday), a Koch Cap hat and T-Shirt and a ticket to the Awards Dinner for a price of $100-$125. As soon as we get the final price for the Awards Dinner a form will be posted. Please check back.
